Jessica Melin

Jessica Melin, B.A.Sc.
Graduate Student


Jessica Melin was born in Stockholm, Sweden on May 26, 1975. She completed her Bachelor of Applied Science with a Concentration in Biomedical Engineering at Simon Fraser University (located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada) in 1998. Her undergraduate thesis work is entitled ´Development of an Encapsulated Pressure Sensor Fabricated Using DRIE´. Other projects include ´Development of a Compliance Independent Pressure Sensor for Biomedical Applications´ (postscript or pdf) and a MEMS Demokit.

She is now a Ph.D. student in the Silicon Sensors Research Group at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden and is working in the area of micromachined resonating structures and biomedical applications.
