Students

Brief bio: Born in Athens, June 17 1978. I graduated from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2001. My Diploma Thesis involved Max-Plus Control of Discrete Event Dynamical Systems. My advisor was Prof. Petros Maragos.  Since March 2002, I  worked on my PhD in the Control Systems Lab of the School of Mechanical Engineering in NTUA. My advisor was. Prof. Kostas J. Kyriakopoulos. My research interests include decentralized control of multi-agent systems, robot navigation, networked control, event-triggered control and control of hybrid systems. My Thesis was defended successfully on December 2006. I joined Prof. Karl Henrik Johansson's group at the Automatic Control Lab of the School of Electrical Engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) as a postdoctoral scholar at the beginning of May 2007. I was one of the 4 receivers of the KTH ACCESS Linnaeus Center Award for best post-doctorial application, selected among more than 100 candidates. I joined Prof. Emilio Frazzoli’ s group at the Laboratory of Information and Decision Systems, Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a postdoctoral associate at the beginning of March 2009. I have joined the Automatic Control Lab of the School of Electrical Engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) as an Assistant Professor from October 1, 2010.
