Sha Yao, Ph.D.


Sha Yao received the B. Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, China, in 2004, and the M. Sc. degree with specialization in wireless systems from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden, in 2006. He joined the Communication Theory Lab at KTH in 2006 where he worked towards a Ph.D. degree. His research interests include information-theoretic perspectives of cooperative transmission and relay network. His advisor is Prof. Mikael Skoglund. He held a visiting position at Princeton University, NJ, in 2009. He successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis in March, 2011.
